June 2011- McAteer & Co lodged their own submission to the task force.

May 2011- Ciaran McAteer & Timothy Bryans attended a conference hosted by Amnesty, at which a submission prepared by Amnesty on behalf of victims of abuse was presented.

April 2011- Ciaran McAteer attended Stormont to meet Government Representatives from OFMDFM to discuss the work of the task force.

January 2011- McAteer & Co Solicitors issued a press release in relation to the recent government announcement regarding the setting up of a task force.

Winter 2010 / spring 2011- Ciaran McAteer attended a steering group of solicitors and representatives of institutional abuse victims including Frances Reilly, author of “Suffer Little Children” for whom McAteer & Co acted in recent High Court proceedings.
